Your questions about Mobile, answered
As of October 2025, we’ve expanded our mobile footprint to service most of our Internet customers on the Cogeco network. To confirm service availability, enter your address at the top of this page.
Good to know: If you aren’t a Cogeco Internet customer yet, you can sign up for Internet and mobile at the same time.
Your service works across Canada, either within our mobile coverage area (in Quebec and Ontario), or anywhere on our trusted nationwide partner network.
When you’re in Canada, you can use your phone for calls, text and data, without roaming charges.

Good to know: You can also use your phone in the United States and more than 100 other countries affordably with Cogeco Daily Roam.
Transferring your existing number to Cogeco Mobile is a simple 3 step process:
- Check online if your phone number is eligible to be transferred (ported in) to Cogeco Mobile by selecting your plan first and then checking if your phone is compatible by doing IMEI check.
- Complete your purchase online, in-store or over the phone with a new phone number.
- Once you get your SIM card, call us to complete the number transfer (port in) request. Your service with your current provider will be cancelled automatically once it has been transferred to Cogeco Mobile.
Good to know: Don't remove your SIM card from your device. The phone number you're transferring to Cogeco must be active to complete your transfer.
No, your Cogeco Mobile services are billed separately from your other Cogeco services, such as Internet and TV. You’ll get a separate mobile bill with its own account number and due date.

A device with a similar name but a different model number will not be compatible.
